Planning for Our Energy Future

cowsandsolarJoin Preservation Maryland and Kent Conservation and Preservation Alliance for a town hall style meeting to discuss the state of clean energy in Kent County and the threats being posed to historic landscapes and farmland. Large solar and wind farms threaten the historic landscape and farmland of Kent County – despite the county’s own efforts to provide appropriate locations for clean energy. Clean energy is necessary for a more sustainable future, but it should not – and need not – come at the expense of Kent County’s and Maryland’s history and heritage. Come to the Town Hall and learn more about what is at stake.

Join us to:
• Learn about proposed clean energy projects in Kent County and across the state and how
this will impact you.
• Find out how to make the case for preservation and conservation and learn about more
opportunities to get involved.
• Meet and network with other Kent County preservation and conservation advocates.
Bring your love of Maryland, and we’ll make it worth your time!
Admission is Free, Wine reception will follow the program.P.S. Please consider forwarding this email to at least one friend who might like to join us!
