Explore the Kent County’s historical cultural landscape through stories. Kent Conservation and Preservation Alliance has created an interactive ESHI Story Map that lets you read and see some of the County’s historical past, locate where some of the story takes place and understand how this developed into the Kent County that we all enjoy today. Visit Kent County Story Map and navigate through the content that we hope you will enjoy.
The Story Map is the preliminary phase that KCPA has undertaken, starting with the Cultural Landscape Report and culminating in the third phase which will be a Documentary: Place, Past & Present: A Documentary about Kent County’s Storied Landscape (working title). We have raised the capital necessary, through grants and generous donations, for making a video. KCPA has hired Mike English, Managing Director of Content at Maryland Public Television to produce and distribute the documentary.
KCPA is high on Kent County’s beauty and looking forward to showing the unique beauty and historical attributes of Kent County’s countryside in a video production. Stay tuned for an announcement of the release date, scheduled for early 2021.
