Voices of the Chesapeake Bay-Michael Buckley

Michael Buckley for the past 20 years has hosted a weekly radio program that airs Sunday morning.  His show “Voices of the Chesapeake Bay” includes an eclectic mix of music and his acclaimed oral history interview series.  For the series, Buckley has covered the 64,000 sq. miles of the Chesapeake Bay watershed, interviewing over 500 residents.

Michael developed and teaches the ongoing C.V. Starr Center StoryQuest Oral History Workshop at Washington College.

Here Michael interviews Elizabeth Watson and Janet Christensen-Lewis about Kent County, and the impacts and possibility of a new Chesapeake Bay Crossing terminating in this small county on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
